As the wheels of my vehicle rolled along the route, I found myself captivated by the otherworldly allure of the surroundings. The clock struck 6:00 PM, in the mid-month of October and suddenly, a gentle veil of fog descended upon the road, transforming the mundane into the extraordinary. It was as if nature had conspired to create an ethereal ambiance, casting a spell on all who dared to venture through its misty embrace.

In this moment, the verdant landscape came alive, radiating a vibrant hue of green that was unparalleled in its magnificence. The sheer abundance of nature's bounty infused the air with a sense of vitality and harmony, painting a picture so captivating that it felt like a dream. However, fate had other plans as the path to the mesmerizing waterfalls was unfortunately closed, depriving me of witnessing their majestic cascade. Undeterred, I chose to embark on a journey of exploration and serendipity, ultimately discovering the captivating Swapnavel View Point, where nature's allure unfolded before my eyes.

For those seeking panoramic vistas that stir the soul, Swapnavel Viewpoint beckons. Situated approximately 11 kilometers from Tilari Nagar junction, this awe-inspiring vantage point offers a breathtaking panorama of the valley and majestic mountains. Our journey led us to Swapnavel Resort, a tranquil abode that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the splendor of the surroundings. Nestled amidst this haven of natural beauty, we were treated to the captivating sight of couple of waterfalls, adding an extra touch of allure to the experience. As guests of the resort, we were fortunate to be exempt from any entry fees, allowing us to relish the sublime views without constraint. The optimal time to visit is during the rainy season or shortly thereafter, ensuring an exquisite display of nature's grandeur.

Way to the Room

As the sun gracefully descended, we indulged in the serenity of the evening, savoring the breathtaking vistas from the comfort of our room. The resort's kitchen delighted us with a delectable array of hot snacks, providing a delightful culinary accompaniment to the awe-inspiring scenery. Taking a leisurely stroll along the viewpoint, we immersed ourselves in the tranquility, finding solace in the serenade of nature.

The following morning, we were greeted by a captivating blend of mist and fog, casting a mystical aura over the landscape. Relishing the tranquility, we engaged in gentle stretching exercises before settling into a state of peaceful meditation. After savoring a delightful breakfast, we departed from Swanpavel and embarked on a scenic half-hour drive spanning approximately 8 kilometers to reach Tilari waterfalls. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the entry to the Tilari Dam was closed. Nevertheless, we reveled in the captivating allure of the waterfalls and couldn't resist indulging in a rejuvenating dip in the cascading waters. Feeling refreshed and invigorated after our delightful freshwater bath, we eagerly set off towards our next destination, Dandeli.
